Geert Wilders Warns Time is Short
to Answer Radical Islam Threat
in New Coral Ridge Hour Documentary

The case of Fathima "Rifqa" Bary, a teenage girl who fled Ohio in July after her Muslim father allegedly threatened her for deserting Islam for Christianity, has focused attention on the Muslim custom of "honor killing" family members who betray their Muslim beliefs.

On September 20 and 27, a brand new nationally broadcast Coral Ridge Hour television documentary, Radical Islam on the March, not only sheds light on honor killings and the teachings of Islam, but also the current threat Islamic extremism poses to America and the West.

"We want people to recognize that radical Islam is extremely dangerous, and that it is advancing at an alarming rate—even into the United States," remarked John Rabe, co-producer of the television program.

A website developed for the TV special contains a preview of the Radical Islam on the March program.

The program documents how Islamic extremism has led to violent "jihad" - as seen by 9/11 as well as assaults in Madrid, London, Mumbai, Beslan, and elsewhere. Experts indicate that these terrorist strikes are an outgrowth of the jihad or "holy war" prescribed by the Koran, Islam's holy book, against "infidels" or non-Muslims.

"There is a mainstream . . . and, indeed, dominant Islamic tradition that teaches that warfare against unbelievers is the Koran's last word and most important word on jihad," notes Robert Spencer, an authority on Islamic terrorism.

The goal of jihadists is to impose sharia or Islam's code of law on non-Muslim nations and force them to submit to its customs, Spencer explained.

Steven Masood, who grew up Muslim before converting to Christianity in his late teens, further constructs the mindset of jihadi terrorists.

On the political side, "It is that the West has always demeaned us, not only spiritually, but also economically as well, and let's get them, get their financial system down," Masood says. "The spiritual side is that the United States of Islam has to be established all over the world."

Nonie Darwish, an Egyptian-born writer and commentator on Islam, said Islam practices the values of seventh century Arabian culture.

"Today in Saudi Arabia, in Yemen, in several Muslim countries, you find eight-year-old girls who are filing for divorce, eight-year-old little girls, children. This is the consequence of being ruled by a seventh century law and style of life on the Arabian Peninsula," she said.

"The whole of the Islamic world from Morocco all the way to Southeast Asia is living the culture of seventh century Arabia: the values, the norms, the morals. And this is the dilemma of the Muslim world."

Along with Spencer, Masood, and Darwish, an impressive list of more than a dozen scholars, terrorism analysts, and authorities on Islam were interviewed for the two-part program. Experts include high-profile counter-terrorism analyst Steven Emerson; Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C.; and Christian apologist Dr. James White.

Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders speaks on the upcoming broadcast about the current Islamization of Europe.

"I believe it's five minutes to 12 in Europe," Wilders says of what he believes to be radical Islam's imminent threat to the continent. "There is an enormous 'Islamization' through mass immigration and through demography, and the so-called leaders we have . . . are looking in the other direction."

Wilders currently faces death threats and hate crime charges for criticizing Islam. He warns that while it may be five minutes to midnight before Islam’s influence engulfs Europe, "In the United States, it might be 10 minutes to 12, maybe a quarter to 12."

The program also shows that many followers of Islam are turning to Christianity—as has Fathima "Rifqa" Bary.

"Today, what we’re hearing is that there are literally millions of Muslims coming to Christ all around the world and they're having dreams and visions of Jesus," says Faisal Malick, a former Sunni Muslim, who tells of his conversion to Christianity on the broadcast. "I believe it's a very unique time where God is reaching out to the Muslim world."

Radical Islam on the March’s co-producer, Dr. Jerry Newcombe, says that despite all the violence associated with Islamic extremism, "Jesus Christ is on the move to win over even terrorists to faith in Him.

"As Christians, we need to see Muslims as human beings who do not know Jesus," he said. "They long for some assurance—apart from martyrdom—that they will be accepted by God and spend eternity with Him in heaven. Jesus gives that assurance."
